Starter dominated the narrative during the Big East conference, with an explosive marketing and media campaign and in-store activation. Full features ran in leading NYC “things to do” publications including The Secret NYC and Average Socialite, and Carl appeared on the hit sports podcast New York New York on The Ringer, and ESPN Radio. Overall, there were 9 feature stories and over 14 MILLION organic media impressions generated surrounding Beasts of the East.

Super Bowl Experience NFL Shop at Ernest N. Morial Convention Center
From Wednesday, February 5, through Saturday, February 8, fans engaged with Starter at the Super Bowl Experience, the NFL’s interactive football theme park. The space featured an immersive shopping experience, offering exclusive Starter NFL Super Bowl LIX merchandise and fan engagement opportunities.

A 360-degree camera activation and other interactive elements brought Starter’s energy to life, while a towering display, inspired by New Orleans’ iconic balconies, ensured all eyes were on Starter. This activation solidified Starter as a major presence at Super Bowl LIX, delivering an unforgettable experience for fans of all ages.
Starter x NFL Shop Presented by Visa
Located in the heart of New Orleans, the Starter x NFL Shop at 333 Canal Street offered fans an elevated retail experience in partnership with Legends. The store showcased exclusive Starter apparel, highlighting the brand’s lifestyle appeal through an upscale design and premium aesthetic.
Starter x NFL Shop Presented by Visa
Serving as Starter’s flagship hub for the week, the space hosted multiple celebrity appearances and activations. The dedicated “Starter Live” section featured live podcasts and interviews with talent such as Pacman Jones and D-Nice. Carl Banks also conducted media interviews from the store, including an exclusive tour for Billboard, further amplifying the brand’s presence during Super Bowl week.

Starter x Giants Activation in Munich
On November 10, the New York Giants took on the Carolina Panthers at the legendary Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany, and Starter was proudly along for the ride. In a historic moment for the Giants and the NFL International Series, Starter embedded itself in the hearts of fans and locals alike throughout a week of unforgettable activations.

STARTER x SHIEKH x USC IN STORE & ACTIVATION
Starter x Shiekh In Store Installation
This summer, Starter celebrated a major milestone with its dedicated shop-in-shop section at the Shiekh store in the University of Southern California Village. Since its installation, Starter has soared to the top, becoming the #1 brand in the store and outshining competitors like Nike, Mitchell & Ness, and Pro Standard. The USC community has embraced Starter in a major way, with its popularity growing stronger every day.
Starter x Shiekh Field Day Activation
To commemorate this success, Starter and Shiekh teamed up to host an exciting Field Day activation on Nov. 16 that brought the campus to life. The event featured a live DJ, delicious food, an ice cream cart, and interactive activities both inside and outside the store. Students enjoyed games like giant Jenga, claw machines, and inflatable sports challenges, creating a fun and vibrant atmosphere. Giveaways and prizes added to the excitement, with lucky fans taking home exclusive Starter merchandise. Many students also were drawn to the store by the excitement of the activation and spent time shopping for Starter gear of their own. The event proved just how deeply Starter has connected with the USC students, offering them a day of fun while further solidifying Starter’s presence as a campus favorite.

Starter Activation at Seattle Seahawks Lumen Field
On game day for the sold-out Seattle Seahawks vs. San Francisco 49ers matchup, Starter took over the Seahawks Pro Shop at Lumen Field, creating an immersive fan experience. The activation featured an exclusive collection of Starter merchandise, a dedicated Starter hat wall, branded signage, and a 360-degree camera station where fans could capture memorable game day moments. Sales spiked as fans eagerly embraced the Starter lineup, and visits from the Seahawks mascot, cheerleaders, and Seahawks alumni added to the excitement, making it a must-see experience for everyone in attendance.

Starter Activation at Atlanta Braves Thread’s Clubhouse Store at Truist Park
Starter delivered an unforgettable experience at Truist Park for the Braves-Dodgers series, bringing together sports, apparel, and hip-hop. Our team hosted an in-store activation at the Threads store in Braves Clubhouse, with a store takeover featuring exclusive Starter products. The event included a live discussion and meet-and-greet with Jermaine Dupri, who shared his personal connection to Starter and spoke about the brand’s cultural impact. Fans had the opportunity to shop exclusive Starter merchandise, with the excitement around Jermaine’s presence and his Starter stories driving sales.
After the Threads takeover, Jermaine took the field in a Starter jacket to make the “play ball” announcement before a sold-out crowd of over 41,000 fans, declaring, “ATL, let’s play ball!” This powerful moment brought everything full circle, capturing the synergy of sports, apparel, and hip-hop with Starter at the forefront.

New York Giants Mark
a Century of Gridiron Greatness
On September 6, Giants fans gathered at MetLife Stadium for the unforgettable Giants Fan Fest X Starter Activation, celebrating 100 years of Giants football. The event featured on-site retail sales of exclusive Starter 1925 and 100th Anniversary merchandise, with fans eagerly grabbing these limited-edition items. Giants players made special appearances and signings, adding to the excitement. Attendees who spent $100 or more were treated to a FREE limited edition custom airbrushed graffiti t-shirt. With music by DJ Citi, interactive experiences like the Insta Wall and 360 camera, and plenty of games, giveaways, and social content from influencers, it was a day to remember for fans and the team alike.

Created awareness and brand buzz, built excitement, and generated holiday foot traffic to the NHL Store while promoting the Starter “Black Ice” collection. NYC Lights Collection
Starter launched their newest, limited edition “NYC Lights” apparel collection with Giants Legends both past and present. The collection complemented the Giants Legacy Games platform and included a classic t-shirt, hoodie, and the iconic Satin.
The apparel was available for sale online at the official Giants shop and in the Team Shop for the 12/11 Legacy-themed game.
The collection was promoted and supported across multiple Giants channels, featuring a recreation of the iconic ‘Bad Fellas’ shoot.

NFL x Camp Flog Gnaw Event Activation
After four years, Tyler, the Creator‘s Camp Flog Gnaw made its highly anticipated return to Dodger Stadium.
When fans weren’t watching their favorite artists, they could enjoy the endless immersive experiences between games, rides, and on-site activations with the NFL and Starter where they could win a Starter x NFL x CFG personalized embroidered coaches jacket.
By nightfall, the rainbow-colored lights that outlined the amusement rides, bled into the twinkling L.A. city skyline.
The Flog and Gnaw Stages showcased up-and-coming artists like Ice Spice, D4vd, and Teezo Touchdown.
While the Camp Stage featured industry icons including Turnstile, Tyler, the Creator, The Hillbillies, SZA, and more.
